a manifesting story, and birthday
In a few days I’ll be turning 28.
And a couple months ago, my partner and I had a work date at one of his favorite cafes. I was working on Empaths in Business, and he was keeping me company. I looked up and noticed a pretty bottle on the shelf. There was liquor in it, but I was more interested in the bottle itself. I loved how it said Avril, April in French. I looked closer, and the label had Quebecois written on it, making it a local company and making me love it even more.
So I told my partner that I wanted the bottle for my birthday. It was a random thing to say. My mind just associated Avril with my April birthday, and I thought the bottle would make a pretty flower vase.
It was a passing thought, and I went back to work until we left.
This morning we were out for a walk. Quarantine has closed most things so the streets are really quiet. We were talking about my birthday and how we want to celebrate and then crossed the road to look at a pile of wood a family left out for garbage day.
And there it was: my Avril Quebecois flower vase.
In perfect timing for my birthday.
When I saw it I smiled so much because while my partner forgot about that birthday request, the universe did not. And while it’s just a little vase, it means so much.
