In a few days I’ll be turning 28.
And a couple months back my partner and I had a late night date at one of our favourite 24/hour cafes. I was working on Empaths in Business and he was keeping me company and working on his own things. I looked up and noticed a really pretty bottle… there was liquor in it but I was more interested in the bottle itself. I loved the look of it and how it said Avril, April in French. I looked closer and above the label it said: Quebecois. Making it a local company, which made me love it even more.
So I told him that I wanted the bottle for my birthday.
It was a random thing to say. My mind just associated Avril with my April birthday and I thought the bottle would make a pretty flower vase, especially being a Quebec company.
Earth is as alive as you and I.
It is a conscious being, which is why it has a personal chakra system and grid lines.
And when we talk plant consciousness, we are talking this energy.
A steady, familiar energy similar to a loving mother who wants to support, care for and protect YOU.
As maternal energy, Earth jumps at the opportunity to care for her beings and one way it does this is through gifts like rocks and plants and other natural offerings, which all share in her steady energy and maintain a consciousness of their own.
Breakups can feel like the end of the world and for those of us who experience our emotions deeply, they can make us feel as if it's impossible to go on. Time and time again I meet people trying to use the law of attraction to bypass healing. But we can't bypass healing. We have to hurt to heal. We have to hurt to grow. Wanting to avoid pain is why the law of attraction excites so many people after a breakup. We don't want to hurt so we do everything we can to avoid it... we do everything we can to regain control. But the reality is, there are times in our lives where we have no choice but face pain and show up to realize the only person we have control over is ourselves. So no, we can't use the law of attraction to get your ex back but that doesn't mean we can't use it to create a life that's better than the life we had with the person who chose to walk away.

I scrambled to create space. But while I was clearing old photos from my gallery my dog moved and I missed the chance to take her pic. As annoying as it was, it was a good lesson in the importance of making space.
